1.7.5 Legislation

Legislation is the collective term for documents concerned with the act of making law and includes Acts, Bills, Regulations,Statutory Rules, By-laws and proceedings of Parliament.

Use legislation to:

  • find current laws and legal records.

Examples:

  • Cattle Stealing Prevention Act 1853
  • Hansard
  • Interactive Gambling Act 2001
