2.4.2.1 Choose the right database

Identify the relevant database for your faculty/school from the Library Web pages by using the Journals & Databases tab. Reading the description within the full details of the database entry will assist you with choosing the best database. Bookmark the link.

USQ Library subscribes to nearly 100 databases, so it is important to know the best databases to search for your topic.

Use Journals & databases

 From the Library home page you will see the Journals & databases tab at the top of the page. From here you have several options for selecting databases. Select your subject from the Subject drop-down menu or type the name of the database in the Find search box.

You can also select the letter of the alphabet that corresponds to the first letter of the database. To browse all databases, select All

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Reading the full details of a particular database entry, particularly the description entry, will assist you with choosing the right database.
