2.4.2.2 Tip for searching databases
Be more specific with your search terms in a database than in a library catalogue.
For example: In a database, a search for primary education might return tens of thousands of results. You would need to make your search more specific by using additional search terms or using a subject search.
Why?
Some databases also allow you to search the fulltext of the document for your search terms. By searching the fulltext of a document you increase the likelihood that irrelevant results will be returned. The results may contain your search terms, but often in the wrong context.
For example: Primary education will appear as public and private school education when you are only interested in private primary school education.
This is less likely to happen if you use additional search terms or search the subject field.
For example: primary education and private school and australia
